SAGE & SHAY LAUNCH

April 11, 2023 3:07pm PST (Sun Conj. Jupiter – One of the luckiest days of the year!)

Spirit has been guiding me for quite some time to put my messages into writing. I have been told by many including a tarot reader that I need to write more. I have always been hesitant since our collective attention spans are now so short and many of us don’t enjoy the written word as in times past. Even I sometimes find myself drifting off quite quickly when I open an article or book to read. Why do our minds do that? We are one of the only species on this plane who has the comprehension of thought beyond the present moment. We get so caught up in the future or past often forgetting and not acknowledging what lies right in front of us. The auto pilot on the trip that never ends. We absorb so many external noises we often cannot differentiate between who we are and how we feel about things. One of being which these messages I’m now sharing with you – these messages may be completely foreign or confusing to you. You may be reading out of pure boredom, curiosity, judging as I continue – or maybe, possibly maybe, you have been guided here for a message from spirit. You are new to the spiritual realm and wondering what is happening to you – or has happened to you. You are no longer who you used to be but not quite to the place you know you are going or meant to end up. You grasp moment to moment wondering who came up with all this – and by this, I mean everything we have to confront, integrate, and acknowledge here in this earth school. You feel alone and detached from the society around you. Or maybe this is one of your first lifetimes on planet earth and this all seems normal to you, and you go about life in the liner fashion – curious and satisfied on how it’s all unfolding.
My north node is the third house – even with my years of astrological studies I just recently decided to dive into my exploration of the nodes. It honestly has been so revealing and has resonated deeply with me. Here’s some information on my nodal placement – “If you have your north node in the third house, you have your south node in the ninth house. The nodal axis reveals where you are coming from, and in which direction your soul wants to grow. In the past, you were overly oriented on seeing the bigger picture, and found it hard to settle down. The north node in the third house suggests that you must change your focus. Now, it is time to get to know your immediate surroundings and prioritize hands-on learning. In astrology, the third house relates to learning, the thinking process, and connecting with others. In a nutshell, this is what you need to work on with the north node in third house in your natal chart. In the past, you were very focused on finding your purpose and your beliefs. You were absorbed in ideas, and you often forgot about practice. Your eyes were so fixed on the end destination of the journey that you forgot to make a move and start going in the direction where you want to go. The north node here means that your south node is in the ninth house. The lunar nodes are exactly opposite each other in the natal chart. In the past, you were so focused on ideas that you forgot about the people around you. In this lifetime, you must learn to see people surrounding you, too, and learn to work with the people around you. And not just work, but also engage in small talk and have fun. Some people must go on a long journey to find their purpose, but in your case, it is right under your nose. At the same time, you could have sacrificed connection with others. In this life area, you are underdeveloped, and in this lifetime, you are given the opportunity to learn through exchanging ideas with others. In the past, you were so focused on your vision that you forgot about the details with the north node in third house. A natal north node in third house suggests that you must learn that the devil is in the detail. There is a tendency to forget about execution. The north node in third house suggests that actions are just as important (if not even more important!). You love to research and think about ideas, but you probably procrastinate too much. The north node in the third house also suggests that you need to develop skills. The sign of the north node and the chart reveals more information about this, but you can find working on your skills very fulfilling. With the north node here, it is possible that you overlooked the importance of technical skills in the past. In this lifetime, you need to prefer the concrete mind to the abstract mind. Communication and writing are very important with this placement. You can develop as a person a lot through writing and journaling. The north node in third house suggests that interacting with others can help you grow. You have spent time searching for meaning and wisdom. This can mean your past in this life and your past lives. You enjoyed reading, spirituality, philosophy, education, everything that could get you closer to understanding the world and your role in it. Some people with this placement have poor social skills. It can happen that you are so absorbed in your inner world that you forget about others around you. This leaves little room for your social skills to develop. At the same time, connecting with others is the direction you want to go. The north node in third house suggests that you often feel lonely among people. You can have close friends, or you can be happily married, but you feel that you are a stranger in your local community. One of the most important life lessons of your north node is to learn to interact with people”.

You now may be saying to yourself, I’m so glad I read about Travis’ nodal placement – however, more likely you’re wondering where I’m going with this. I feel seen and understood unlike ever before – in my past lifetimes I was the philosopher/guru/spiritual teacher upon the mountain top unable to be approached by others. I spent time researching, analyzing, and philosophizing instead of doing. The strength of my south node (those things that come naturally to me) have been guiding me for quite some time in this lifetime. Often having lots of knowledge and personal study and reflection time. I have read so many different books and articles on every spiritual and metaphysical topic imaginable, attended classes on metaphysical practices, becoming a certified life couch and much more. I have spent years in reflection - growing and developing spiritually. I have in a way isolated myself from others – often not discussing topics and tools I have found of great help or sharing my gifts and talents with those who’s souls could benefit. I have got caught up in the know-how of doing so many things but have delayed in opening and practicing what I have known and sharing and connecting with others. I have decided to leave my comfort zone – I have made it to the spiritual spot in this lifetime where I have been going in circles because I have procrastinated in connecting with and helping others.
I have decided to launch this website Sage & Shay– some of you may have noticed that name already on my Poshmark Page (Thanks for all the support there!) I will continue that and have decided to offer many more services. You can read my intuitive insights (will include writings, book recommendations and more), book a session with me, shop my Poshmark, and stayed tuned a Patreon with daily oracle readings for monthly subscribers coming soon!

I went to lunch at a Chinese restaurant today with a friend and this was my fortune that came falling out of my fortune cookie “Our happiness is greatest when we contribute most to the happiness of others”. I’ll leave you with that – welcome to Sage & Shay!

Stay well.
